This assignment was to create an image using shapes only, with no anchor points or handles using the pen tool. Here is a simplified version of the assignment in color. The complete assignment is below in black and white.

This assignment was to create an image using shapes only, with no anchor points or handles using the pen tool.

For this photo, I made significant alterations. A few highlights are that I changed the lighting on the terminal, and added a gradient of blue into yellow on top of red color on the brick face. And I overlaid a reduced-opacity picture of a solar system to replicate a snow effect.

For this photo, I added a Black and White filter and changed the light on the photo so that the statue really stands out. Finally, I removed a cell phone tower using the spot healing brush.

Based off of a favorite photograph, I created a vector image of the Apotheosis statue and filled with a deep green and put a light green background behind it. A similar version exists in red and gray.
